I have been Tagged at the worst time....haha.(Thanks Amy!) You will have to take in the fact that we are not yet out of boxes....or somewhat out of boxes but not yet put away. I took the pics yesterday and I am just getting around to posting today.

Little happenings and random thoughts-

The girls had so much fun playing with cousins. It is hard to live so far away.

Jumpin Jacks is one of the best places to take kids. I don't have pictures but I really wish I did to show the expression of the girls faces when they went down the huge bouncy slide.

Crazy me decided to start the Twilight series but wasn't able to put the dang thing down and ended up finishing the series in a week. And no, I didn't neglect my kiddos by doing so....they did a ton of playing at the splash parks, parks, pools, etc. :) Very good books I must say!

I found out that In-N-Out burger isn't as great as everyone talks it up to be....I would much rather have a Parker's or Purple Turtle burger.

Brian is taking it into his own hands to move our household out to Arizona.(Instead of having a moving company) Crazy!! He amazes me at the things he will tackle and he does them well. Thanks for all you do, babe!!

Some more picture at the splash park in St. George.

We've been hanging out in St. George! Things have really grown here in just a year. They have a few water parks(fountains) around town that we have been to several times. I haven't seen so many people out and about here during the summer. I think that most people stay inside when the summer rolls around because of the heat, but these water parks have brought a ton of people outdoors. It has been a lot of fun! I think that I have taken a bazillion pictures and I will have to post a few.

Isn't is so much fun to run through with your clothes on instead of swimming suit?!?!?

We made it to our destination(Arizona)!!! Yay!! I didn't get any pictures on the way...I was just thinking about getting here, but I did take pictures of some happy girls. So good to be out of the car after 4 days of driving!!! The drive went well, we were able to stop and visit my sister and her family(they live in Mississippi) on the way out here too.

Bunco with the ladies! We met once a month and had yummy food, fun and prizes. It was so much fun and I looked forward to it each month. This is from my last Bunco which was the night before I left town.

We were half way through our playing when we took a break and had some dessert. I decided to plop my butt down on this comfortable chair and was just relaxing when everybody decided to surprise me with a going away gift. I was in complete shock.....truly surprised!!!!

They gave me some nice things to remember North Carolina, a yummy cake and fun memories!! Thanks so much and I will miss you guys!!!

We made a spontaneous trip to pick blueberries before we left NC. We missed the opportunity to pick strawberries so I really wanted to take the girls to pick some blueberries. It was around noon when I decided to make a quick trip so it was pretty HOT when we got there. The girls had a lot of fun dropping blueberries in their buckets and hearing them hit the bottom. Ava really enjoyed it and didn't want to stop. She could have filled up the bucket she was carrying if I let her. We only got a little over one pound. I had high hopes of using them for pancakes or muffins but never got to before heading out. :( They were very good too! I was lucky to get some yummy blueberry muffins from Lenette though.

Ava was nervous since it was her first time with a sparkler. She just stood there...very still.

Morgan was the same. The boys are trying to get her to move it around.

On the road again

The time has come, once again, for us to move. Well, about a week from now. Oh the joys of the military :) I have been staying busy with all the cleaning and organizing that needs to get done before the moving company comes and packs us up. Yay for the moving companies!!! I don't think that I could continue to move like we do without them.
The one thing I don't like about the constant moving is leaving my wonderful friends. I have met some great people here in NC!!! It makes me sad to think about it, but good thing we have blogging, right?!?!
I will try and update more before I leave.

I know, another day at the beach you say. Well, we might as well take advantage of it while we are here!!! Morgan is becoming a little more daring when it comes to getting in the water. She's been body surfing and just when she was getting comfortable, a wave, bigger than what she expected, knocked her over and rolled her a couple times. She sure jumped to her feet quickly! After that she claimed she didn't want to come back to the beach. Poor thing!!!


Ava, on the other hand, will not go close to the water. She is very content just playing in the sand.

After the beach we went home. Brian and Chris decided to go out on our dock and try fishing.

and another catch! What??? There is a fish on the end of that line? Hahaha...you might have to zoom in a little bit but there is an itty bitty fish. We had to get this prized picture!!!! Poor Chris...maybe next time :)

I don't think we could get sick of going to the Aquarium! It is probably our 5th time there and still as exciting as the first.
