We just went to the 233rd Birthday Ball for the Marine Corps on November 20th. Brian was an escort. I tried to get some good pictures of him during the ceremony but they didn't turn out very good.
Here is my Pilot and Kitty. I had a hard time parting with the pink flight suit and since Ava didn't care one way or the other, I figured, why not another year. Morgan picked out what she wanted to be. They had a fun time going around our neighborhood. This is the first year in a while that I have seen so many people out on Halloween. I had a huge turnout of trick or treaters and it was so fun to see all the cute kiddos in their costumes.
I can't decide if Morgan looked like a cat or a mouse with the nose....anyway, she had it pretty much rubbed off by the time we made it outside.

The other day I decided to experiment with the girls hair and do some rag curls. They thought that it was so silly to have rags in their hair. It was more comfortable for them to sleep on than rollers though. Well, it turned out super curly....Ava's hair shrunk up to just under her chin and Morgan's...well, it was super fluffy and she just complained that it wasn't fluffy enough. It was similar to Ava's before she went to school but a little more out of control. I wasn't sure if I wanted to let her go to school like that but she insisted that she didn't want any pony tails or anything to tame it. I had to put in one to keep it out of her eyes. The picture is how much it had deflated when she returned home. Aren't they so cute?!?!
